From a borrowed camera in Noida to India's first AI-powered creative agency. This is how we got here.
In 2014, Saurabh Gupta started Garage Productions from a small room in Noida with a borrowed camera, an idea, and zero clients. The first project was a brand video for a local education company. No crew. No studio. No safety net. Just a stubborn belief that great creative work shouldn't require a massive agency with massive overhead.
That belief became Garage Collective. What started as a one-person production house grew, deliberately, into five interconnected studios: Productions, Media, Academy, Music, and Tech. Each studio is a specialist unit. Together, they form a single creative engine that can take a brand from strategy to screen to scale — all under one roof. Today, over 40 people across those studios serve brands like LG, WhatsApp, upGrad, Josh Talks, and SBI Life. Today, as a Google Partner, HubSpot certified, and ISO certified agency, we've served over 100 clients across 500+ projects.
But the real turning point came when we stopped just using technology and started building it. In 2024, we launched our own AI tools — CopyLoop for content generation, VisibilityOS for SEO intelligence, GTrack for campaign analytics, and Founder Central for startup fundraising. These aren't side projects. They're the core of how we work, and they make every campaign we run faster, sharper, and more measurable. We're not an agency that adopted AI. We're an agency that was rebuilt around it.
